In today's gospel, Jesus talks about the end of times and reminds us to trust in Him when things get difficult.
Father in Heaven, we praise and glorify you. We thank you for bringing us together for this Children's Liturgy lesson. Please send us the Holy Spirit. Fill our hearts with peace, love and wisdom. Help us to understand the message you have for us today and to apply it in our daily lives. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
One day, Jesus and His friends were at the temple. The temple was very beautiful, with big stones and shiny decorations. People were talking about how amazing it looked.
But Jesus said, “One day, all of this will be gone. The stones will fall down.”
His friends were surprised and asked, “When will this happen?”
Jesus told them, “Many things will happen before then. People might try to trick you. Some will say they are me, but they are not. There will be wars and earthquakes. But don’t be afraid. Stay strong and keep believing in me. If you trust me, you will be safe.”
